
Unfortunately, Write doesn't have the other features I need for this project. Out of curiosity, I tried inserting a picture into a graph box in Write, and that worked just fine. Also, is there any way to get my picture in there without going through so many steps? There will be a lot of pictures. I need to be able to insert a picture and resize it to fit my space, but inserting the picture into a shape either gives me part of the picture or the picture several times over, depending on how big I make my shape initially. I understand how to covert a picture into a bitmap and how to insert it into a shape, but when I do that, I can't resize the picture as I like. To access an image that has been placed in the background, open the Navigator window (via the Edit menu), click on the little triangle near the Graphics icon and double-click on the title of your image.

In the contextual menu which appears, choose Arrange, then To Background.

In the Anchor contextual menu, don't choose As character. In the contextual menu which appears, choose Wrap, then in Background.
